The defendants were each charged with 39 offences pursuant to the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000. The Acting Magistrate dismissed the complaints on the basis that they were out of time. It was also ordered that the Complainant pay the defendants’ costs, which were assessed at $40,000.
