The third version of the Queensland Judgments website has been launched.
There are two main changes.
First, the website now allows all users the option of viewing judgments in their original printed format.
Second, an additional 35,000 unreported judgments have been added, comprising:
- a complete collection of unreported judgments of the Court of Appeal;
- a complete collection of the unreported judgments of the Full Court;
- a further instalment of the backset of unreported judgments of the Supreme Court (which is now complete from 1979);
- a further instalment of the backset of unreported judgments of the District Court (which is now complete from 2000);
- a further instalment of the backset of unreported judgments of the Land Court and Land Appeal Court (which is now complete from 1985).
- a further instalment of the backset of unreported judgments of the Planning & Environment Court (which is now complete from 2000);
- a further instalment of the backet of unreported judgments of the Industrial Court (which is now complete from 2008);
- a further instalment of the backset of unreported judgments of the Industrial Relations Commission (which is now complete from 2014); and
- the entire digital collections of the Childrens Court; the Magistrates Court; the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal; the Legal Practice Tribunal; the Queensland Health Practitioners Tribunal; and the Retail Shop Leases Tribunal.
These judgments are able to be viewed online in their original format as well as downloaded as a text-analysed and searchable PDF document. As with all judgments published in the Queensland Reports and all recent unreported judgments, this content is available free of charge.
