The Magistrates Court imposed a fine on Mr Dart. Ms Hajridin was sentenced to three months imprisonment suspended after one month with an operational period of 12 months and also fines: Magistrate Ryan.

Mr Dart's appeal against convictions was dismissed as was his appeal against sentence. Ms Hajridin's appeal against convictions was also dismissed but her appeal against sentence was allowed in part. The sentence ordering that she serve three months imprisonment suspended after serving one month was varied so that it was wholly suspended. Her sentences were otherwise confirmed.
